The story

"My father is a biker." Well, to be honest, was a biker: yes, he had a Mondial 125 and an MV Augusta 250 from the 50s; my mother—his girlfriend at the time—was always right behind him. Then I came along, and I was placed between them, like a puzzle piece. We didn’t have helmets, though I had something of the sort, but I wouldn’t call it that. My father often wore a flat cap, and he used a lot of hair grease; my mother wore a scarf. I've always had a passion for hats. As a child, I often dressed as a cowboy or Zorro, as this photo shows.
